At UGC, we’re doing everything we can to help minimize driver exposure and the spread of the Coronavirus. That’s why we now offer drivers the option of doing new hire orientation online.

We hope this effort and other ongoing actions will continue to protect our drivers, families, and the communities we serve.

It will still be necessary for drivers to come in for their road tests as well as their physical and drug screening if they have not been completed beforehand. Because of this, we wanted to remind you of other protective steps we’ve implemented:

  • Installing free sanitation supply stations
  • Screening all visitors and new hires for Coronavirus symptoms
  • Increasing disinfection of high use public areas
  • Wearing rubber gloves when working on trucks
  • Monitoring of potential COVID-19 cases
  • Requiring self-quarantine as needed
  • Placing contaminated trucks out of service until disinfection is completed
  • Promoting healthy hygiene information
  • Masks will be provided to all onsite employees
  • Masks required while on-site
  • All employees must complete a COVID questionnaire upon arrival
  • Temperature check required for all employees entering or exiting a building

DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current CDL-A
  • At least 22 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years recent CDL A driving experience
